Connect Tally (TallyPrime) to TrueStock

A step-by-step guide for resellers & customers — set up the integration yourself.

Option A · File import (works today)

Bring your items & stock in from Tally (TallyPrime)

In TallyPrime open Gateway of Tally → Display More Reports → Inventory Books → Stock Item (or Stock Summary).
Press Alt+E → Export, choose Excel (.xlsx) and export the item / stock list.
In TrueStock go to Items (or Serial numbers) → More → Import and upload that file.
Columns are matched by header automatically (SKU, Name, Stock, etc.). Re-import any time to refresh.

Re-import the latest export any time to refresh stock. TrueStock matches rows by SKU, so existing products update in place.

Option B · Automatic connector (on request)

Live sync via the TrueStock agent

In TallyPrime press F1 → Settings → Connectivity → Client/Server configuration and set TallyPrime acts as: Server (default port 9000).
Make that PC reachable from the internet (static IP or port-forward 9000) or install the TrueStock on-prem agent on the same machine.
Share the host/port with us — TrueStock then pulls Stock Items over Tally’s XML gateway on a schedule. Request the connector below to set this up.

Install the lightweight TrueStock Connector Agent on the PC running Tally (TallyPrime): install Python 3.8+, unzip the kit, copy config.example.ini → config.ini, run it, then schedule it. Full step-by-step for Tally (TallyPrime) is on the agent page.
